Lizzo

LizzoLizzo joined a prog-rock band where she sang and sometimes played her flute. Her family moved to Denver and she was all on her own, trying to make Houston her home. Lizzo lived in her car and sometimes slept on the flooring in her studio, and washed at the gym. Her father passed away at the age of twenty-one. They had been close, and it was a heartbreaking loss. After her father's passing, Lizzo quit the group in 2010. After a brief visit to Denver, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis in the year 2011 at the invitation of a close friend. Lizzo quickly found herself in the center of the music scene. She was a part of the girl group Chalice, GRRRL PRTY. Her debut album, Lizzobangers was released in 2013 by an independent label.
