Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her roles as the protagonist in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. She is also popular for her roles in movies such as 'Private Parts', 'Deep Impact', "True Criminal as well as '1408'. Her parents were a therapist as well as an ice cream shop owner, McCormack hails from a family without any direct connections to the field of entertainment. Following the separation of her parents, McCormack enrolled to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In the year 1990, following having graduated from Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA, she graduated. At the beginning of her career, she had just 12 years old when she appeared on stage in the opera "Amahl's Night Visitor". She continued to play in the theatre, and eventually landed roles on both the smaller and big screens. McCormack's versatility is widely recognized and is still widely recognized. Michael Morris is her husband and she is mother to three daughters.
