Angela Kaufman
Angela Kaufman works as an author, speaker and writer. She's also a Licensed Intuitive Consultant. She's also a Reiki master and certified psychic medium. During a three-year stay in Italy Kauffman made her reputation for her portrait painting she also produced history paintings. The election of Kauffman to Rome's Accademia San Luca (the Academie of Saint Lucia) in 1765 was a recognition of her artistic achievements. Angelica Kauffman spent only 15 years living in England however she made an enormous contribution to the 18th century London art scene becoming one of only two female founding members at the Royal Academy. Artist Angelica Kauffman died on November 5th, 1807 at the age of sixty-six. Liz Powers founded ArtLifting along with her brother Spencer Powers in November 2013, and they have worked together since then. Liz was also listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list as well as Boston Globe's top game-changers. Liz is a fan of creating artwork from old books, hiking and doing yoga. She also loves sailing. The family moved to Rome in January 1763 Kauffman was first introduced to the British community. The family then moved to Naples, where she continued the art of portraiture, while also learning English. Kauffman was able to study Old Masters' works and get her first portraits sent to an exhibition in London.
