Azzyland filming her entire character and uploaded it to YouTube, the channel she set up to share her videos. The videos of Azzyland were an instant success and swept the web. She soon became known as an official cosplay artist at virtually every convention in the world. McCrudden an infamous YouTuber who interviewed her for a documentary on her successes caught McCrudden's eye. McCrudden, while interviewing McCrudden, found she appeared appealing on camera. McCrudden offered her an chance to host his YouTube show Before They Were Famous. Azzyland's initial days hosting the show gave her a nightmare as she regularly had trouble identifying the names of celebrities. Azzyland got in trouble due to her use of FaZe Jen, a renowned gaming star, with the name Jason Eugene Vonderhaar. In the aftermath of the incident, she became the subject of many memes, and also a public backlash against her. FaZe Jen liked her apology video.
